    I wear the mustang hydrostatic. It inflates from water pressure if you fall in. The inflaters are pricey, but you only replace them every five years. I've gotten pretty clumsy as I've gotten older and had knee replacement, so it's cheap insurance.

    X2 on the Mustang Hydrostatic, Rain and such will not arm it they say, Good insurance when I fish alone, getting old and wobble alot, LOL, But they do cost more than the others,love ones got me one a few years back, so They would feel better , but its lite, and I do wear it ,

    Your a lucky man,,all my xwives got me one,,said it was a life jacket,,to be sure and wear it,,,turned out it was a divers belt,,with all them lead weights around it...Its so nice to be loved....lol

    rtark look at bass pro and cabelas. you can usually snag on for $100. i was told that it would only inflate if suberged underwater...

    Actually, Cabelas SI jackets are reg $140 on sale for $89
    It ain't nuttin but luck.

    talk with cane pole. he posted about this type of vest and said to get the one that has the "cut down" at the back where your neck will be. he said one with the cloth straight across there will wear on the back of your neck. he said he bought the wrong kind first and could not use them because of that. make sense when you look at the pictures of the vests.
