First thing to do is change your forum settings to the enhanced message editor (WySIWYG) as follows:

    1. Click "Settings" (located left of "Log Out" at top of page).
    2. Scroll down to "My Settings" (Located on left side of Settings page).
    3. Click "General Settings" (located under "My Account")
    4. Scroll down close to the bottom of the page to "Miscellaneous Options"
    5. Under "Message Editor Interface" select "Enhanced Interface- WYSIWYG"
    6. Scroll to bottom of page and click "Save Changes"

Now when you want to add a picture to a reply, just click on the movie screen icon on the Editor's menu bar. This will give you an "INSERT IMAGE" pop-up. If adding a photo from your computer click the "from computer" tab on top and the "select file" button on bottom. Navigate to the picture you want, then click "Upload Image" and you should be good to go.

Note: there is probably a size limitation to picture uploads, don't know what it is but you should keep it no larger than 800X600 pixels and around 128K. Lots of good free resizing programs out there. Let me know if you need information on resizing for web.
I just tried your way and it much much easier. Photobucket works good if you want to show a series of pic by just posting a link. Thanks
    It ain't nuttin but luck.

Y'all are welcome.... glad I could help! Don't know about the size limitation.... at one time Slab was talking about adding something to the forum which automatically downsizes those large megapixel photos today's dig cameras take. I always down size mine myself so I can send them by email if I choose. Does anyone know if pics are automatically sized here?

I resize my pics in my Cannon digital cam, up load to PC pic file and then up load to C.COM manage attachment browser from PC Pic File. I will never own a CAM that dont allow me to resize in the camera itself. So much easier.
