    Default I'm a old newbie

Hey folks,,I came on unannounced more or less..I have a couple of close friends who are members here and they told me about this site. I have been here less than a month, have been a avid angler most of my life, until a divorce way back in the 90s....my bass boat went,,along with most everything else. I am just getting back in the game.

The user name is in reference to my love/hate affair with handguns, lol I try to keep them in the x ring....

I hope to meet alot of you people on the lakes and rivers of this great state and compare yarns, truths and 1/2 truths......maybe truth that has a tiny bit of embellishment......

I'm from near Dardanelle in yell county (true Grit) country.

If your ever down my way,,give a shout, retired and free most of the time to go to the lake.

    Don

Yep, I am the other grumpy old man and the longer the creek stays muddy, the grumpier I get. I just called and Nimrod is up at 365' wow, that didnt take long. I wonder if the bass will hit the fields this time of year. I may give it a try if we get a bright sunny day.
