Caught these yesterday before the rains of biblical proportions. They had big shoulders and egg sacs that seemed to be better developed than I remember from past Thanksgiving crappie. Do you suppose this portends a mild winter and an early spawn? Maybe crappie know more than our weathermen RoflRoflThe 4 best crappie together weighed just under 10 lbs. on my not so good scales.
