It'd be nice to get that for catfish fillets wouldn't it Nimrod??
Check this out ! Crappie fillets - 5 lbs Package | Walleye Direct Go figure they are sold out! Guess we are blessed , some rich guys pay a fortune for same type of fish we give away.

That figures out 18.00 per pound for Crappie fillets! Bet that does'nt include shipping!
I give away enough Crappie every year to buy a new boat!Thumbs Up I fish most days from March 1 till Deer season and some after that if I'm not netting Catfish and Buffalo. About 100 trips ( probably closer to 200 trips) x 4 lbs (conservative figure as we have caught as many as 10 lbs fillets when I take someone) is 400 lbs mutiply by 18 is 7200.00! Yep , that's a start on a new boat ! But it's not legal to sell here and it's not why I crappie fish. Good thing is I have lots of friends who love to have a fish fry. Most folks I fish with can't understand why I seldom keep fish when they go along. I would Crappie fish even if I could'nt keep one. If I had to stop eating fish or stop fishing, I'd fish.Thumbs Up
