We were thinking about coming down to fish Conway thrus. and Fri. Has all the rain muddied the creeks too much and wiil this cold front hurt?

yes to all of your questions, I would wait four of five days, we have recieved a substantial rain fall and it has muddied the entire lake, it was a strong front and will have some impact on the bite. But the only true way to find out would be to venture out and try your luck. Good luck on your venture.

went out on caney creek today....caught maybe 25 kept 10...got 'em on the edge on the lily pad stems...bit best on chartand black...no bigguns...largest was about 3/4 lb.....good luck if you go

Thanks for the info guys. We didn't get a chance to make the trip. Discovered problems with the trim and tilt on the boat and had to put it in the shop.
