    Thanks for the tips on the rod actions. I've decided to go with no less than a 6'6" "light" action rod and am looking at the Cardinal 102 reel. It's their middle sized reel and it comes with 2 long cast spools for about 35 bucks.

    I really like the BPS BionicBlade, 6 foot, light action. Works great for me. Cast really good and has got great sensitivity.

    I will check BPS and give them a look. After I said I liked a 7' minimum rod, today I caught all of mine on a 5 ' ultra-lite rod and reel. It was a blast too.
    It ain't nuttin but luck.
