    Default Question for creekslick


    I'm planning on fishing Greers Saturday with my son & nephew and according to AGFC report, the crappie are good as well as the whites & hybrids. I'd prefer to crappie fish but I'm sure my youngsters might like some of the fast action that can be had fishing for hybrids. Any suggestion to where we all may be able to get into some action? I've only fished the dam site area and devils fork area a couple times but would be willing to try anywhere. Any advise would be appreciated.

    It's gonna be tough Saturday, there is a $3000.00 Bass Tourny Saturday. Try any of the pole timber with minner under a slip float. If you pull cranks try some of the flats in 25-30' of water. I fish today and did not see any hybrids breaking the surface but the wind was blowing 20.

    Good Job Creek! Its was hard not to fish last weekend. I found out if I dont bring my boat I wont fish. Maybe the end of the month when I come up there with my smokestick. The land owner that I hunt on wants me to kill some coyotes for them. That is hard to turn down. They have land at Hickory Flat with a hog problem. I would like to help them with that also. Might be a busy winter. I hate dogs, hogs and deer.
