Retired the first time in '86. Got bored, went back to work for a while, decided I could beat boredom and have been completely retired for 7 years. Lovin every minute of it. It has been a whole lot better since I found this forum and met so many of you. Ain't life grand.Hands ClappingHands Clapping

Was going to in Mar. 2010, and work couple of days a week. Trying to ease out and let son take over, but it may be another year and half, or next March. I think I could fish and hunt 5 days a week with no problem.

I'm getting close to retiring myself but I probably won't be able to afford to. I can always wish!

I am 59 and have been self employed for over 30 yrs. I farm fruits and veggies and according to how most people view retirement I have been retired for 30 yrs. I work hard when I need to, fish when I am not working and enjoy both. I am hoping THE LORD comes back before I reach the age that the U.S. Gov. calls retirement age. If He does not I will keep doing what I am doing till I DIE.
