    Default More Help Guys...

Ok. I have a boat that im wanting to rig up for a double set up front. What is the optimum width between "center" of pedestal mounts. I have 54" to work with. Is this enough room for to seats up front and be comfortable?

Yes. I sell the double seat frames and they will work easy with that much room.

I would love to have double seats up front but I don't have room. Of course I would miss out on putting a rookie up front with 8 poles and watching them go nuts when 2 or 5 fish get on at the same time. They look like a 3 legged dog with a bad case of fleas.Rofl

I had 57" to work with on mime and I set them on 28" centers. I looked at double seat rigs for days on the internet before deciding to put 2 plates in mine that will accept 3/4" pin style pedestals. I have used it 1 time since and love it.

RCC thats funny. You shld see me up front when a nice big grennel decides to take me for a ride. gezzz. NatGear thats pretty much what i have plans on doing. So 28" apart will work for me. I just dont want to be rubbing elbows, and being real tight spaced, etc... My oldest boy is gonna love being able to set up front with me. thanks for the info guys!

I'm a big guy and me and my buddy had plenty of room to spiderrig off the front. Now I've only used it 1 time that way so not real sure how happy I will be in the future. You may want to look at 30" but I wouldn't go any wider than that myself. The rig that I really liked was @ cumberlandcrappie.com You may want to check it out.

With the seat frame you only need the one base in the middle. You don't have to drill the deck, or use doubler plates to support the deck. I weight 340, and my partner is a big guy also. They work great, and you can take it out and use it for BBQin, Huntin, campin, etc. I use two of em at the store for office furniture. LOL

Sounds like you got it figured out though. Good Luck!!!!
