i hear ya turtle bait! we caught alot of crappie and kentuckys also last winter. i sure would think that the fish had a good spawn this spring!! Its a good level right now but it dont need to drop much more just needs a better color! i drove accross corning bridge yesterday and it was pretty muddy up there to, so its just gotta be the rice fields because the river is holding steady.
