    Default Crappie.com better than Facebook

A olld friend of mine from another state and time found me on Crappie.com from a pic and post. Its been some 15 years or so since I have seen him. 5-6 months ago I invited him to go fishing. With the weather not being right we just never got together. I finally twisted his arm and turned it to a smile. The day was beautiful. We pulled cranks at Butla. Hal I had a great time and looking forward to our next trip.Name: billyscameraaugust2011 017.jpg

What a good time I had fishing with Billy E! He's a super fisherman and person. When we reconnected, to me, it was like we had never been apart. Thanks to crappie.com we were able to renew our friendship and hopefully he will let me fill the back seat when it is available again. Thanks again Billy for the invite.

I tried the facebook thing and never liked it. I guess too many people wanted to just chit chat and find out each others business on facebook and even though there's alot of ribbing each other here on CDC it still stays somewhat fishing related. I got out of acebook about as quick as I got in. One thing I do know though...I wouldnt ever learn as much about crappie fishing from facebook as I have already learned here and I still learn something new all the time.

Congrats on your reunion and the fish and fellowship you guys shared. Hopefully youll hook up again soon and do it again.
