    Default OT Colorado Trip

Well, I put down the fishing pole and got to pick up the bow for an archery antelope hunt with my wife. We got to enjoy a trip out west a whole week without kids. It was very nice to get some one on one time again. We traveled through Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, and Kansas. Our hunt took place in the Southeast part of Colorado. We stopped by many sporting good stores on the way and had many good meals. We both harvested some nice antelopes but hers will go in the Pope and Young book. I settled for a smaller goat after missing two boone and crockets. We hunted together a couple days and had loads of fun even got stranded by a flash flood.

Congrats on the Goats and wonderful trip!!! How do those goats eat? I have heard both great and terrible... Never tried myself but have always wondered what the truth was..
