New Waters
I live in Brinkley, and I'm growing tired of Dagmar and Greenlee...there's only so much you can do from the bank (I seem to be hitting the same spots repeatedly).
I know there's probably over a hundred lakes and reservoirs within an hour of me, but I haven't got the first clue which lakes in the refuge areas are private and which are public. I am up to travelling anywhere in Monroe or Prairie county, I just need to have an idea if anyone knows if the AGFC has a list of the public lakes vs the private ones or if anyone can give me a heads up.
I tried to locate Midway Lake by Roe the other day, but my map told me the only way to get there was through hunting club land that was posted...any thoughts?

You can get maps of the Cache River Refuge and White River Refuge which will show what they own and the roads. Also the G & F will give maps and other info on their website or just calling them. Or ask your local wardens and other fishermen or ladies.
