    Default White River Good ones

Well took ole CrappiePro today fishing. We got a late start and got on the water about 1230. With 7 trucks in the parking lot I wasn't too excited but we launched anyways. Motored for just a few minutes just to get away from the ramp and people loading up their boats. We started putting poles out and within just a matter of minutes we had fish bouncing them around. We had to fight em off while we got all my rods in the water. Russ was leary of fishing in the middle of the day but soon learned the benifits of nobody on the lake. It took us 4 hours to boat our 60 fish. the fish bit fast and furious and were very nice in size. took a few pictures of the day for ya. Enjoyed the trip CrappiePro we will do it again. the fish loved anything chartreuse in color.

Man it was a great day J.W. 4 hours and done with 60 keepers and slabs. LOL it was like shooting fish in a barrel and stacking cord wood. And i dont know how many good ones we had get off. I did think I got an evil eye from your lil fishing buddy as we pulled out of the drive way. She is adorable.
Im always learning and was really surprized by how shallow the fish were in the middle of the day for this time of year. J.W. you are a Crappiemaster and I will be looking forward to our next Oxbow trip somewhere deep in the White River refuge. Thanks for sharing your trolling tips and time on the water. Nice bunch of fish. I have been hearing good reports on crappie catching on some of the White River lakes. I am trying to find time to go try it myself. If nothing else just to go fishing! Nothing ventured, nothing gained huh?

LuvPt answer yo phone brother LOL. It was a good trip and for some reason CP kept saying I can't believe how shallow these fish are in 100 degree heat LOL. I think he gained some good insight on trolling and I expect we will see some good reports from conway soon from his trolling adventures there. There were people single polling and double polling the area and they had some good catches too. This was my first time to this lake and we killed em. The refuge fish are aggressive and hungry for anyone willing to go and catch em. Just about any lake right now is on fire. I have been fishing a different lake everytime I go just about. I think someone put it well "nothing ventured nothing gained" from above post. Several guys pm me and ask where I am catching fish and I don't mind sharing info but remember share your adventures back. Tight lines ya'll and CP we will go again soon I hope. Gotta get my buddy blue thunder and LuvPt on some fish. I heard they had a rough struggle this weekend.
