I get an unpainted leadhead in 1/8 oz make sure all flash (sharp edges from molding) are smoothed off. Dip in scent for lube , push inside umbrella tube . I like to put a tiny barrel swivel a couple feet up from jig to prevent line twist. Here is a picture of one. Works best on 6 or 8 lb test line. Only draw back is you must cut off jig head to replace tube when needed. But tubes last much longer with out small fish pulling them of jig head. I started putting the on the end from hook and using lead barb on jig head to hold them on. But with my way you loose less tubes and unpainted lead heads are much cheaper. I use this on bait in several colors 99 % of the time.
