Default Too hot but went anyway.

I went Crappie fishing till it got too hot ! Caught plenty of small ones on silver/white jigs. Kept several 10-13'' Crappie and enough hand sized ones to fill my limit of 20. Wound up with about 1/2 gallon of fillets. May need to hit the Catfish again soon.
Fewer fishermen out today. Guess this heat is about done got too hot for most.

Perfect weather. Throw em on the aluminum deck for 20 minutes, salt, pepper and eat. Deck baked crappie.

sounds good to me meat. I used to fish that lake quite a bit but since I moved from little rock its quite a bit further and I haven't fished it in a long long time. I know nimrod has been putting structures out and the lake has much improved.

Hey Nimrod, glad to hear you are catching enough to make a mess.. Think me and my buddy and his dad are thinking about coming up Thursday morning and fishing until we get too hot.. If we do I will PM you so that maybe I can finally meet the infamous NIMROD!!! LOL I will let you know...
