Nimrod, how you going about targeting them cats or do you have a sweet spot for them? Great catch. Congrats.

I've noticed in your pictures that there are very few Blues in them. What's up with that? I've seen your pictures with all the Ops. I figured if there were Ops in the numbers like there are in Nimrod, that there'd be a ton of Blues too.

If a member takes the time to post a picture of a catch no matter what that catch is, then we should all appreciate it, encorage the member, post favorable comments or just say nothing at all. I have posted pics before just to have somebody come along to make derogatory comments about the post. I dont think that is how we are suppose to operate. Geeze...

That dude ain't speaking for me. There are a lot of anglers that prefer to fish only one lake, so they fish for whatever the hot species is for the time of year. I would love to take a trip with Nimrod for them cats. I know I'd get my string stretched all day!!! Nice catch Nimrod!!!

I noticed that the water must be warm. One of those catfish was drinking a coke. Nothing like a good catfish to give the fishing tackle a stress test.

Coke must be the choice of fish everywhere. If it's good enough for the fish, it's good enough for meThumbs Up

There are very few Blues or as some call Whites or Fultons. Don't catch many Flatheads except in nets when they bunch up in the winter. But Nimrod is loaded with Channels.

We used soured feed dumped on stumps or pallet beds near a channel drop. It can get to where you almost have to hide to bait your hook.Rofl Lots of fun when things are slow. Great if you have young'ns wanting to catch plenty of good sized fish in a short time.Thumbs Up

I've posted in trade a trip if you got a equal trade. I fish for just about anything that swims.
