Default Lake Maumelle - First Time

I have been getting some good reports from Maumelle. Can't believe I am saying this, but I am going in the morning. I have all the Game and Fish GPS waypoints (condos) marked and I have 20 spots marked that I THINK should hold fish. I will let you know.

If any of you have any pointers, let me know. From what I have heard, the Dead Sea is coming alive.

    Good luck Joe, keep cool.

What did it weigh? Looks like a big Channel Catfish. I've heard there are some huge Flatheads and Blues in there.Thumbs Up

Well, I had my 8 yr old son with me and we got 8 nice ones. We got to fishing at about 6.30 am and were off the lake at 10.30 becasue he was too hot. I did some spider rigging and did good. Could have gotten way more with a more serious day. Found them hanging off the steep ledges in about 20ft of water. I will be back!
