Went to washington on friday, caught one small crappie. We trolled from cordell's all the way past southern star. Now that i think about it, i dont believe we seen even one other boat.....hmm, must be a sign...LOL. We were going to try Lee, but water is just still too high. My brother caught quite a few small ones at Grand. There were quite a few boats at paradise (in the parking lot anyway). I was just riding around, so no report from there.Looks like we should've stayed in LR and went with ya'll. Them are some good uns!

I finally figured out why Blue Thunder (my own son, David) has been out catching me in the size department these past few weeks. He thought he was being slick letting me catch all the dinks while he has been pulling in the big slabs. I got to noticing it only happened when we were in separate boats and I figured he had a secret technique he didn't want to let me in on. I sent him to get some ice Saturday while I went to snooping in one of his jig bags. I think I found it! It has to be his secret weopon because it's the only jig in his collection that I don't have in mine! He still won't admit to using it but just check out the pics. The top and bottom jigs are what I have been using the past couple of trips.......now compare those with the middle jig. Notice the SIZE difference??? Thumbs Up Seems like you can't even trust your own kin nowadays to let the dad in on a little fishing action! I will be ready to put it on him our next fishing trip! I am going to use an even bigger jig than his and probably even have more hair on it and won't be telling him nothin.... Rofl The other pics I have posted are from our trip Saturday with him and my Granddaughter Lilly!

LMBO. I knew he had a secret bait. funny though I only get the call "hey where did you catch them at" instead of hey we caught em today LOL. Hey when you run out of snack foods, those salt impregnated squirts good as a tide over too.

well folks, dad thinks hes got me figured out again!! Doh when he sent me for ice i knew he would pull the ole classic move and go thru my labeled secret weapon bag so i put those jigs in there for dummy purposes, theres some things that you dont even tell family Rofl.

Hey sps, i appreciate the report on lee and washington. my buddy has also been catchin alot of little ones out of grand, anytime you get down this way let me know and we'll get together and go somewhere.
