Default snuck out with my buddy

Well got off work yesterday at a decent time and after running a few errands me and my youngest got to head out to a local pot hole and fish. The bite was strong and we hand many triples and quads on at same time trolling. At one point we took 2 rods out of the water because we couldn't handle 8 of em. We trolled jigs about 3 foot deep and the Crappie couldn't resist. We limited out in two and half hours and should've been done earlier if we didn't miss so many. They aren't the slab barn door Crappie but good eaters. Hope to go again this weekend.

Looks like you have the HoneyMooner add a seat. I have the same one, works really good.

Nice catch. The last time that I was there I caught a lot, but not many bigger than my hand. The kids love it though.

yep that is the honeymooner seat I have. I got it this past week and have used it a few times. works really good. The add a seat is out of buisiness. The honeymooner appears to be well built. I wish it had a place for an umbrella though. I finally figured out a place for an umbrella and got me a 7 footer. It works really well. When I take the kids I don't necessarily care about catching barn door crappie but want the poles bending alot. We are fortunate to have several lakes within an hour drive that have quite a few crappie in them. Some lakes have good numbers while others have fewer numbers but bigger fish. Have had some great help in getting my boat and equipment lined out.

Hey, getting out with the kids is what it is all about and they don't care what size the fish are. As long as they are catching something they are happy. I fish down that way quite a bit. Maybe we can get together one day and go after some crappie.
