I have been the past 3 Sundays and the only thing that will bite is catfish. I load at Red Barn and the water is still high and a little dingy. Crappie have to be scattered out in the lake cause they are sure not up in the brush. Gonna keep trying because they have to move in close soon??? Alligators are definitely out though!!! Saw several 2 Sundays ago!

I caught a good mess on Friday. I had planned to fish Sat, but there was a bass tournament, and lots of ski and wake boats, so I loaded up and came home Sat morning. Caught my fish in 11 to 12' water fishing close to the bottom. Couple of fish had mud on their bellies.

Caught mt fish in that flat around the first point from Mikes. Water temp was only 78 last Friday, so fish weren't too deep. Still think you could catch fish there---might have to move a little deeper.
