    Default Strawberry R. ramp

The ramp in the ash flat area on strawberry river is broken and washed sideways, cann't unload.L.B. ramp on spring river is ok,the smallies are meaner then ever,Ky. bass are fat, pretty good slabs, rock bass are big chucks.
Both rivers are about a foot to 2 foot high, closer to black river the higher they both will be.They both still have alot of current but clear, smallies were biteing good,Ky. bass were picky eaters, slabs were to,rock bass would bite anything.
On strawberry I Could see a ky. under a log 8 foot down, tried everything to get him on a hook.Tried 3 different times during the day to get him to bite, bounced, dragged lures in his face, even night crawlers. He would chase a buzzbait and hit at poppers. It was fun watching him run out of under the log time after time and either stare at the lure or swim around it watching the lures every move.
Will Be glad when the rivers get back to normal,

I tore up some goggole-eyes on Spring before the flood, but now that its floating season, I doubt I will try them again until fall, unless I go during the week. But work don't like that much.

Funny (not haha funny) how the smallies and walleyes are the easiest fish to catch...the only time I catch kentuckys or saugers is by mistake...what is the L.B. ramp on the Spring River??...thanks for the fishing report, cannot get enough of Spring River so never fished the Strawberry...
Save the planet, it is my favorite place to fish...
