    Really? That's what you use?
I have never used one, may have to try it but I see it taking longer..

I have a B & D slim grip that I bought years ago and it looks almost identical to the Mr Twister. The B & D only cost $15 compared to $39.00. It has really done a good job for me. I tried a curved blade and gave it away.
    It ain't nuttin but luck.

I will buy you a Budweiser if you can clean more than I can with an electric knife.

How often do you sharpen? Or do you buy a new knife?

I have a friend that commecial fishes, I have never seen him use an electric knife. He has a fillet knife, a couple smaller blade knives, and a hatchet. He gets them fish cleaned right quick too. mostly catfish and buffs, I have never seen him clean a crappie.

i got to watch a young boy about 14 years old down on sam rayburn years ago that could clean 3 bass a minute with a russel filet knife. he charged 15 cents a fish to clean them and it was well worth it to watch him work. when i came back from there i ordered some russel knives and can use one better than an electric knife. and for you that use a regular filet knife the best sharpener, i think, is a rada. google rada knife sharpener. it will put an edge on a dull knife in a few strokes. cheap too. i think around 6.00.

There has never been a sharpener made that I could put an edge on a knife with. I am sharpener impaired. LOl! I have to use a buffer to sharpen my knives. Now, with a buffer I can make them too sharp. and yes, a knife can be too sharp. While skinning deer you will cut through the hide or into the meat with the slightest touch.

I have used the same American Angler electric knife for over 15 years. Buy a set of replacement blades every other year and it keeps on going. Wish I could find the thin blades. The last set I got were really thin and easy to use.
