Thread: Nimrod Lake build #2

No one else has said when for sure they want to have our little build. So I'm going to say lets have it the weekend of the 18th. I hope this is suitable for most. I know we can't all be there on any given weekend, hope most can be ther that weekend.

Has any heard anything out of Nemrod in the last few days??

I talked with the Project manager today. He is suppose to check on a dump boat and two guys to run it. Should get back on the phone soon. Asked for the 18th of June.

i can be there on the 19 or any sun or mon .heading down this weekend dardenell hasnt been very good to me lately .good to here from slabbandit hope all goes well for you both.

We have several more that asked about helping. We will need some things for a fish fry. I will furnish the fillets and JigginPoleJoe are you still cooking? We will need frozen taters, slaw, hushpuppies, paper plates , forks , ketchup, and napkins. If you are bringing extra folks please post a # beside your name so we can cook plenty. I guess we can build with our boats if the Corps does'nt pan out. Post boat beside your name if you can bring a boat if needed.

NIMROD = 2 boat + possiably 2 Corps folks

We need everyone that can bring brush, condos , or whatever to post. I have a Bamboo patch that was donated within 1/4 mile of the dock. The Bamboo covers about an acre and we can cut all we need. SS2004 hopefully has plenty of large zip ties. I have over 30 old heavy concrete blocks for anchors. Gathering boards and pallets. Plenty of rocks to sink pallets. Hope we can make this build even better than the first. The bait store owner has some brush and blocks also.
I think the next build if we do one should be on Dardanelle or some where besides Nimrod Lake. I enjoy these builds and hope everyone can get good use of them.

Glenda and I will have the tea, paper plates, forks and napkins ( paper towles). I will have a small. We will also have a dorm size refrigerator if anyone wants to put their drinks in it.

I will bring a chop saw,nail gun, air comp., 16' trailer. The toon and the bass boat are already there.


Hope to see a bunch there.
