I build everything excepts for screws and nuts. I have spent about 5 or 6 years designing and deciding what i wanted. The first one was pretty crude but it caught fish just as good as the new one. This one is alot more user friendly.
Billy, i fish alot at poinsett , maybe i'll see you there sometime.
I have lots fun Spider riggin!!! here is my set up. 2 x 12'poles, 4 x 11' and 2 x 10'.

I love stick steer boats. I am convinced that unless you have a 18' or larger boat a stick steer is the way to go. I was looking at stick steers when I found the boat I have now. So far I wish I would have went ahead and got a stick steer boat. I like my boat, a stick steer is just easier and more comfortable to fish with.
The sticksteers are great to fish from but they are hard on your back in rough water.

Drop off I would buy a setup from you if you wouldn't mind making me one. [email protected]. thanks I have a 1542 war eagle
No problem at all to reach the front poles. I LOVE my stick steering boat!! very functional set up for all types of fishing. There are only 2 real draw backs i would say and they both go hand in hand...bad weather. when its raining and you are runnin for the boat dock you are right up in it with no place to go and rough water is bone jarring. I can guarantee if i bought another fishing boat it would be SS
