I think the FJ rules spell it out very well. However my personal feel is that atleast 1 person in each boat be a member of C.C, I think there should never be more that 2 fisherman in any boat. I would like to see the maximum number of rods lowered to the lesser of 8 per boat or lake rules.

Just my 2 cents but everything I've ever been involved in like this gets ruined with money. It starts with a bunch of guys like us that just love the sport and want to put in a little money to make it fun and it ends up with a few ego maniacs that just want to win and will do anything to win. I would like to keep the money part to a bare minimum and try to keep it fun and affordable to everyone. But I'm up for whatever yall want to do if it stays fun.

Give me till this afternoon to put out some preliminay rules. I suggested to have the first tourney not this Saturday but next so we could all meet before and afterwards to finalize the details like the remaining schedule and etc.

I will use a combo of the pro rules and the 'ssippi fruit jar rules to start with buy all rules will follow state and lake guidelines.

Dennis, here is my schedual proposal, I think this schedual gives a good variety of waters to fish and spread out accross the state. I think fishing hrs through May should start at 7AM after May they should start at 6AM and end at 2PM or 1PM (stop fishing times) I like a 7 hr format for fishing and 1 Hr to make it to the scales for a total of 8 hrs. Get's hot out there in the summer. One Tourney per month. 7 fish limit. Fish can be turned in dead on ice or alive and fish may be kept by participants. I think any boat should be allowed as long as it is legal with state requirements.

It would be easier for some (me atleast) if we did a tourney every other month. That would give us po boys a little more time to save up some gas money and would incompass a little winter fishing. I'll do whatever, only a suggestion

Is it you have to make 3 out of 5 to get to fish the championship? That sounds reasonable. Or maybe if you are going to have just 5 this year only 2 to qualify. What does it hurt to have a bunch of people in the championship. People don't be afraid to voice your opinions, we need to hear from as many peple as possible. I agree with strip about gas money that's why I would be for lowering the entry fee. Remember we want a lot of participation and times are hard. Let's face it most likely there are going to be just a few people that will win all these events and that will be people that can afford to fish 200 days a year and go prefish the lakes a whole week before each tourny. It's the same in archery, bass fishing, pistol shooting and any other sport like this. Don't get me wrong I LOVE this idea I just want to keep it open to everyone.

Lower the fee so everybody can fish them. That way maybe I'll have a different lake to myself!!!!
