Default And then it was on

I went to Lake Sequoyah Sunday evening and fished for four hours and only caught one small fish and then I found this top.

Then it was on. I caught about 20 in the next hour, nine were keepers, and then as fast as it turned on it was over.

Yep, I would be wet and lose all my fishing equipment.

You oughta enter that photo in the contest that is going on right now! See top of Arkansas Forum for information. I looked at it the other day and the pics were mostly kayaks. Prize is about $175 worth of Bobby Garland stuff. The winner is selected by vote of Slab's family. Neat rig you have there, and thanks for the post and the pic.

MB4850, we need to hook up and make a trip over to Wister lake together. If you haven't ever been, it's worth the drive.

I've never been to Wister lake but I've heard of it. Would love to go. Believe me that was a calm between 30mph gusts. I actually caught two doubles that day. That was the first time I had really tried spider rigging. I have done a little trolling and was sort of successful but I've always just jig fished with a 10' jig pole. That's my passion, but that day, that place, spider rigging was the way to catch fish.

Up close and personal with the fish, that looks like huge one-on-one fun. And what a great way to stick it to the gas price man, congrats.
