    Hey CDC

Arrived about noon at daisy st park. Set up camp and hit the water. Caught several Kentucky bass right off the bat and a few bream. Fishin shallow long casting 1/32oz with tennessee shad and lemon merang twister tails. Then weather sent us back 2 camp. Briefly went out again caught a few more bass, then rain again.
We will try agin in the morn

Roger on that lightning! It just ain't worth the risk. I'll fish some pretty bad weather but I'm off the water the first lightning bolt I see. Had a secretary one time whose boyfriend was struck and killed by a lightning bolt on Millwood years ago. Made a believer out of me!
My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!

Bad weather spared me yesterday untill I managed to catch 10 keepers with a few 12 -14 inchers. The males I caught had worn tails and the females were still with eggs in 8- 10 fow. The eggs were pale and mushy and ready to be released. This is on Dardanelle.
Maybe today you can get even with them on Greeson... Good luck.
    It ain't nuttin but luck.

tried to up date my thread a few times but lil hard to find wifi around the lake. OK CDC be prepared to be stunned amazed at the story of my 4 day trip to Mighty Lake Greeson.

I will just cut to the chase and give yall the total fish count. 8 crappie yes i said 8

i am not sure this will qualify as the most pathetic attempt to catch crappie ever

my spirit is broken and i am going to re evaluate my tactics

there was much diversity for us in the form of 2 full days of intense thunderstorms, the lake probably rose 5 feet during our stay.
