High water
My favorite little honey hole is now under about 4 ft of extra water. I'd love to fish it, but last time we went it was a wasted effort. Anybody got any tricks for high water crappie fishing? Its a slough of the main river usually about three to four foot deep. Now the water is up around 8 or 9 foot, and out in the woods its probably a foot to 18 inches. dang near impossible to get a boat through the woods. Was wondering if I should try wading around, or will the fish still hang out around the edge of the slough? Thanks for the input.
