Most of the time the real small and the big Crappie are not in the same spots. Why not the huge slabs, they could very well be like secretive bucks that grow to be wall hangers and get to live long enough to reach their potenial.![]()

What I am asking is do you believe the monster crappie separate from the rest? If so what do they like? Where do you think they would be? As I previously stated I caught one trotlineing deep when the rest were spawning shallow?

at cane creek they are pretty much all huge did you see that stringer on the big fish thread with six crappie weighing 18 pounds 9 ounces

I would stake out Jims table if I wanted to see a 3 pounder. I can't imagine a 3 on a hook.
