    Default Mallard Lake

Anybody heard anything about Mallard Lake lately? A few weeks ago heard of a few good limits being taken out of there.

The one I know of is around Manila/Blytheville where the state record bass was caught.

    Default Mallard Lake

We have seen lots We have seen lots of anglers fishing there lately. Reportedly, they are catching them to. We are in the process of topping the water level off in the lake, if we can get enough water in the adjacent ditch. It is still about a ½ to 1 foot low.of anglers fishing there lately.

Yes Im from Blytheville and Mallard is 15 miles west. About Two weeks ago me and my brother witness them boys slaying those slabs. They were fishing the last lake in the baCK. Jigging and spidering around those ciper trees. We talked to several people and they were hammering them. Some even did well on the second lake coming into the back.

fished there last Sunday from 5pm to dark- left with bout 15 or so, 10+ inches or so but nothing over 1lb- all caught titelining in 3-5 fow. Had the pleasure of handing them off to a guy at the ramp with his two sons- they asked how I did so I showed them. They had been out there most of the day and had one fish, so I gave them what I had and it was a thrill to see the boys argue over who caught which one of those fish......:-)

What a nice thing to do, HandsomeDan! Hands Clapping That's just one of the many stories I've read on Crappie.Com of dot commers giving away their catch to people who haven't had so much success. I've read where Nimrod has done it, I think more than once, and others as well. That's being a real sportsman, and a good guy!! Glad to be a part of an organization where members do things like that! Thumbs Up
My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!
