    Default Wind and Rain Saturday

Hey RCC it was raining and windy Saturday and Crappieking101 and I were in the middle of it on Sardis. We got to Pats Bluff at 8:00 and we were the 2nd trailer on the ramp. He was from TN. We made the point at Clear Creek and it was all ours. I guess the guides gave the fish a break for the day. Buy the way the fish will bite when it rains, I know for a fact.I think we would of caught a limit if the wind didnt push us off. And when it started pushing< IT PUSHED. Fished Capps and Coleman 6-8' deep in 10-12fow. Water temp 53

That's some gooduns for sure. I don't mind fishing when it's cold or in the rain. It's the combo that kills me. Of course, if a person knew he was gonna catch some like you're holding, it would be well worth it to give it a try. How rough did the lake get?

Tommy - You dont need a guide. All you need is a spider rig and a bucket of minnows and capps and coleman rigs. Also a day the wind is not blowing would make the trip down there a little nicer.Dont get me wrong now those guides are great and do a good job. With my trips after I pay for the gas, bait and lunch I have none left.
