I'd just like to say hello to everyone. I have wanted to become a good crappie fisherman for years and learn as much as I could about the different tactics. While fishing on Lake Chicot 2 weeks ago my son asked me if I had ever heard of Crappie.com so after a little research and looking at the good pics you find on here I really wanted to become a member.

When we were fishing at Connerly Bayou we fished by a boat and my son said that guy is on Crappie.com all the time. It was LAstumpjumper so I would like to say hello to him too! I did see him catch a fish as well! Thumbs Up

Why is it you wish to catch this fish they call the Crappie? As CP would say "If Your Big Crappie Bound Let Me Warn You It's A Long Hard Ride" Heh!

JPJ, the why is easy. It is the best tasting fish that swims in my opinion. "The ride is even longer and harder when the fish don't bite!" No Warning just fact at least that's the way I see it.

Just because you don't catch any don't mean they won't bite. That goes for most everyone.:D Welcome from NIMROD on Lake Nimrod.Thumbs Up

Meatgetter my son was bragging on your jigs to me this afternoon. I don't live very far from you. I live in Fordyce.
