    Default spider rigging

I have a 1542 war eagle. I would like to spider rig the boat. Are there any spider rigs that are portable. I use my boat for hunting and fishing. I prefer not to drill holes in the boat. I didn't know if there were any models that could attach to my pedestal seat in the front of the boat.

    Bowhunter,
I'm not sure what the wareagle looks like on inside, but I think it has the inside groove around top like the Grizzly. I made some brackets and hooked them to the bolts in slider and put the star mounts from Driftmaster on them.I can slide them all the way around boat. I put two on each side. and am going to put bracket for anchor on some more of them. I had a buddy bend the aluminum, and made each one to fit where it goes.I can make pics of them if you're interested. I didn't want holes in boat either.
    Thanks
    Steve

I built my own portable because I didn't want to drill holes. I take it out when doing other types of fishing. It is held down by the front pedestal seat. Here are some pics. Might could try something that will fit your boat. I don't know of any store bought ones that doesn't have a mounting bracket that have to be attached.

Looks liker a great portable setup. I have only one dumb question. How do you get your trolling motor up and down? Do you have to move the cross bar with the rod holders? If so, how?

The rods coming up are all threads with wing nuts on them to swing it out of the way to lower the trolling motor. Thats one part I don't like, but I'm so use to it now I don't even think about it. Not really a problem.

The individual rod holder idea on the top bar came from a very fine crappie fisherman from Batesville that now lives on Greers. What I had on there before was some thin metal holders from Wal - Mart. These are made from PVC pipe cut in half and hole sawed out.

They have some out that your seat base slides down inside, basically the same thing as above. Grizzly Jig carries them I think.
