Caught a limit of these saturday on a White River oxbow lake. Typical method for this time of year, right on the bank (less than 2 FOW) fishing a Midsouth Pearl White Glow jig.

Most of the crappie I caught were small and I threw them back but the bass sure were biting good.
Judging by the river gauges down south, I figured most of the WR oxbows were WAY high. Nice catch HawgPharm!!
I would have thought so, too.
not a crappie on Sat at Old River, but I did catch one of them tasty yellow bass.

Not sure why, but the Crappie were not as active as I anticipated this weekend. Just when I think I have them figured out? I worked hard to find them all weekend, caught some nice ones, but really dedicated a lot of time on the water for the amount of fish I caught.
Today was about the same as Sunday.
