I live in Louisiana so I normally post on the LA board, although I live very close to the Arkansas line. Since I live close to AR sometimes I look on the board to see waht is going on. One reason I don't post much on AR board is that yall seem to be more close-mouthed than folks in LA. People here will tell you where they caught them, what color, what depth, almost everything a man needs to know to be able to go catch a mess of fish. I, personally, don't see that on AR board.
For instance, the other night I noticed that someone had caught a nice mess. So I posted that since I had an out-of-state license, I might give the lake a try if it wasn't too far from home. By the time I got through reading "where" the lake was "supposed" to be located I was so confused that I didn't know if it was even in Arkansas or not. I couldn't tell who was telling the truth and who wasn't. And I didn't ask for GPS coordinates, just where the lake was located.
Maybe that is why the number of posts are not there for Arkansas.
The Lord is good. His mercy and love endures forever.
What I tell you....don't believe us.
Hadn't you seen were we even fight for the right to fish our honey holes, even kill our trash fish when caught. We wear our caps bills turned up and tell you yeah we sportman too even tho a beer can floats nearby.
Laying jokes aside they are alot on here that is every turthfull and will move over for you to fish their honey hole.
I don't see where the non posters are hurting anyone by reading and not posting if they have nothing to contribute. To each his own.

I just wish more people would post so I would have a reason to spend even more time on here. Reading fishing stories from other states if alright, but it's more fun if you're reading posts from here, especially if there's pictures. Arkansas crappie IMO are some of the prettiest out there.

well i try to post but do get on and read alot. i have not been fishing to do work so have not had much to say. I have and will always try to help people enjoy the sport and challange of crappie fishng. I have learned a lot from the good folks on this board. If you are down my way if i can help i will
I agree-Hence my screen name. I don't get to fish as much as I would like-Life and work get in the way, So I have nothing to brag about. But I like to stay informed so when the chance comes I have an idea whats going on where. Please don't worry about ME catching all your fish out of all your honey holes or stumbling across one of your brushpiles or stakebeds and putting the waypoints in the GPS on your home lake that I didn't help build, because chances are I wont be there but once in a blue moon.
