I used to wade/fish flat creek before the lake was buildt and even the upper part after it was buildt. If they would leave the dam open it would not flood out the sowed part, may get over some of it but in a day or two it would be gone.Flat creek isn't that big,the problem would be catching enough water in the lake before duck season.Like I said we may ALL have to suffer for a while until the lake(s) are back to producing Large bass and panfish. The draw down is a money maker only for the duck hunters, does it really help a lake to draw it down ever year. After the draw down its nothing but mud flats,if we crappie fisherman don't start hallowering we'll always be second fiddle to the bass fisherman.I think the panfisherman spends more money than the bass fisherman. We think all is will if game&fish dumps another load of fish in a lake but they aren't going to grow if the lake has not the food for them.
