    I was down there yesterday and only caught 8 crappie and 2 cats. The water is about 4 or 5 inches low. The water looks good though. I did see a few fish caught but, nothing to get excited about. I saw about 300 yoyo's with about ten fish on; some with small crappie hanging high and dried out. apparently the game warden doesn't enforced all yoyo laws. I know he is a busy man.

    Let him catch you breaking a yo-yo law and see if he enforces them. Key word is catch. It's hard to watch everyone. But the local possum cops show no mercy.
    Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
    The sheep live in fear of the wolf but in the end it's the shepherd that eats them.
    The two loudest sounds are a gun that goes click when it is supposed to go bang and
    a gun the goes bang when it is supposed to go click.

    Me and my girlfriend were down there yesterday also. We fished from 7am till 4pm only breaking to eat a couple of sandwiches throughout the day. We managed 8 crappie, 1 cat, and 1 bass. It was very SLOW! Saw about 15 yo yo's with fish on throughout the day, bout 1/3 of them were cats. Talked to 2 different groups of people running yo yos and they said that the bite was on, on friday, and that it was very slow yesterday. We fished on far side of the lake on down toward the south a bit, kinda across from the the big tile and the green water tank. By a little after noon, the water temp was a anywhere between 64.5 and 66. It started out yesterday morning at around 57. It only got up that high for a few hours, then by 3pm, some clouds were rolling in and by 4pm when we left, the temp was around 62. This is as good of a report as I can give. Hope this helps. If anyone has any other questions just ask, I'll try to remember.

    Also forgot to add that after I cleaned them I noticed that all 8 of them were females. 3 of the 8 had real bloody eggs in them, and the other 5 all had empty sacs. I hope it isn't already over there. :-{
