PM sent Allen. Absolutely going to Superlift. Better half is all into the rock crawling and off roading ever since we took the new Ruby out to Colorado and hit the Alpine Loop trails.

I seem to remember a nightstalk on Lake Conway one cold Feburary night when the minnows froze in our hands. Remember? Good times.

Well look what the cat drug in! Ole Flyflinger! Man, we would have been better off fishing with sardine flavored ice cubes wouldn't we!!! Creekslick, I sympathize with you man. We left Denver this am @ -15 degrees. I am in NO hurry to go back until the turkey's start gobblin at least!

I hope we are smarter now than we were then Flyfinger. Who's great idea was it to go fishing at night when the daytime temps didn't get over freezing?

Baiting up lines on the river last night, the mainline would freeze solid to the side of the boat during the 2 seconds it would take to bait a hook. My hair was solid ice from my eyes watering running between lines. Wish they made gloves that were warm and waterproof and still flexy and feely enough to bait hooks. I haven't been able to feel my right thumb since the 17 degrees nights we had a couple weeks ago.

Don't take any ice for the fish chest, though.

Hi Buddy, miss those nightstalks. Were you there when we went up the Little Maumle? Gooch said to put the two old guys in the same boat. Me and Jack slayed em that day. Everyone else missed it. I caught my first 15 inch crappie that day.

I believe that was around the time my oldest got sick. Next time we attempt a nightstalk, I say lets shoot for May/June/July/August
