    Default Gold creek

Went to Gold Creek today, day after the big snow, drove on the ice to get there, put in at dano's place, we did not do real well, but we did not do to bad, we had 15 respectable crappie. Really had to work for them. Dano was out there most of the day, did nt get to talk to him don't know how he did. Maybe he will post more information. Sorry no pictures, but it was to dark and Iphone has no flash.

Man, I like your enthusiasm and aggressiveness. I braved the wind sat. for a couple of hours but didnt do well, only one small dink, went home after a couple of hours.
    Good job.

Yes the scenery was very beautiful, I like snow and Ice, as I am in the construction field, we got a snow out, as long as I can get to the water and it's not frozen to thick I will crappie fish this time of year.

Dano glad to here you caught some fish, I could not have asked for a better day for fishing as far as scenery goes or wind goes. The ole fingers got cold a time or two but I expected that, after they go numb they dont hurt no more, There was nt any die hards out but you and me yesterday, but that opens up alot of possible fishing spots. I am like you, wish it could have been one of those lifetime fishing trips in the snow, I had my dad with me and he sure did enjoy it he said. He said it had been along time since he done anything like that, Dragging that bass boat on the slick roads and fishing in the cold and snow.
