To the gentleman out in the cove on Conway that was more than willing to help, thanks for the use of the jumper cables and for the offer of a tow back to the ramp. Thanks for your help and offer of assistance not many people would even give the time and efforts that you made. That was my parents that you tried to help, and I hope your efforts are more that repaid thru the years to come with large crappie and alot of tournament wins. I ain't sure who you are but am sure you are a crappie.com member. I have a sneaky feeling you go by the name midsouth man but ain't sure.

To know that Christian men and women are out and about make me happy.
Slabs - That was me and a friend of mine but no need to thank me, I was just doing what was the right thing to do. I thought that was you but wasn't sure. I hope the parents made it back safely to the ramp, they seemed like very nice people.
Oh, by the way you were right about the spider rigging that day, it didn't work well at all. Left with 6 good fish, all caught on the ONE rod and reel we had with us. They wouldn't touch the spider rigged poles!

Hello sir...
I believed I helped your parents at the boat dock loading the boat onto your trailer. Your dad had mentioned that the boat was yours and they weren't going to let the problems they faced intially stop them from fishing... I liked that attitude. I believe also they had a small dog with them aswel... Nice people, & I'm glad God put me in a position to help. I am happy they made it back safely & hope to see them back out. :o

Well slabseeker, you are a good man as well, I appreciate you helping them out with loading the boat on the trailer. I tried to get him to let me help him load the boat but he refused my offer. He can be kinda bull headed sometimes. But both my folks have hearts of gold. They had actually borrowed my brothers boat. I was in the cove fishing that day as well I was in the big white bass boat. I had taken them up there to show them a few things, they love to fish but they did not know much about crappie fishing there. So i took them up there and showed them a couple of my favorite spots to fish, and as luck would have it I was able to get them on some really nice crappie. They had a blast and caught some really awesome fish at the same time. They say they are going back this week. I told them that they could use my boat as I know they will not have any trouble with it. They refused my help because they like crappie fillets and they were banking on me bringing in more for the freezer , I did not let them down.

Ok... I think I remember you. I was the one who was fighting the wind at this boat dock trying to get'em, but really couldn't due to the wind. I was in the 14 ft. Flatbottom. I'm going to have to upgrade here pretty soon just because of situations like that. Hope to see you out, maybe you could put me on them.. :-)
