    Default 1st crappie of 2011

Hope everybody had a safe and Happy New Year! I fought the wind and cold weather for 5 hours till I couldnt take it any longer. I did manage a few fish and I got to try out my new Christmas gift.I hope everybody has a great 2011!

Wow. Great. It looks like my terrova i-pilot. If it is, you will like it better everytime you go out. I have had mine over a year now and love it. Congrads.

That's dedication when you fish under those conditions..... You will love the Terrova. I won't go fishing without mine. Like an extra person in the boat taking care of nav and steering. I went to Lake Monticello yesterday evening after work and caught eight just to make sure I brought the new year in right. Was able to fish this morning for four hours and only caught four. Out of the twelve fish only one could be called a slab and if I used minnows a couple of them would have gone into the minnow bucket! It was cold and a very slow and light bite but had a blast!!!

Hey, that`s a good looking set-up. You can`t beat that motor. I have been useing mine for a while and and had great results. I take my hat off to you for fishing the cold. You gotta love it. Deer season is over for me and now i am ready to find the slabs but i will probably wait for just a little warmer temp`s maybe above the freezing mark. Don`t break ice much evermore! Keep it up!
