    Default Jig Preference

Hey Guys--I need your advise on jigs. I have been a minnow man for years, but lately I have been trying a jig or two. I know about the electric chicken that fishbasket told me about.
Could I get you guys to give me the names of a 12-15 of the best crappie jigs / rigs, so I can see if I have them or can buy them.
Hot months the minnows is a waste of money keeping them alive.

    Thanks Guys

Rtark is right about this bait, I had 3 other brands of jigs paired with the Bandit on the bottom jig...never caught a fish on the top ones!

Thanks Guys--I have a start---Those Slab bandits look like tadpoles to me.---I use a similar grub with that tail.--I have many many jigs--I just went wild buying them--probably have 2-300, but I plan on making some jigs also using different patterns and mixes.

give me some red/white and black/chartreuse solid body mini jigs such as the hog rustler and i will be content. As long as I have a jar of white crappie nibbles.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.

Pink/Chart. tube jig seems to be a good color for me day in and day out here on Lake Nimrod. Other good colors in this stained to muddy lake are Pink/White, Black/Chart.,Red/Chart., and Junebug/Chart.

Umbrella tubes in most any color. Purple/chartruse , pink/white , black/chartruse are good in colored water and when it gets real clear silver/white is good too. Nimrod lake is colored most of the time and presentation is most important in my opinion.
