    Nothing better than a slab of pecan pie after some fried slabs and hush puppies.

    Good luck on finding a trade, you may need a lot of fish! I heard we have been exporting a lots of pecans to China (where they have become popular) causing scarcity and higher prices this year.

    Nimrod how many are you looking for? I am going to Mississippi for Thanksgiving and my sister down there always has some pecans. Do you want them shelled?

    My trees did not even have enough for the squirrels this year---Of course I just bought this place--fertilize helps a great deal---Wish you luck---Everyone around here in southern Arkansas that I know had a bad season--why---???

    Theyre $5 a lb here shelled...and that's not in the stores....just from the growers.:rolleyes:

    $2.99 a pound in Memphis ...not shelled...The growers in MS Deltaaaa...sell them for about $5 a pound...shelled

    Pulled the nets and Deer hunted some. People were catching fish last week and I put off going because of wind. Now if it warms up some I might try it this next week.

    I am going to Texas next week to see friends a deer hunt. Might make it to Nimrod sometime this weekend if it warms up a little.
