yeah the g&f netted in here 2 nights the first night they caught 500 crappie in 3 nets from I-40 bridge to the highway bridge they only kept 30 but tagged 200 for money just over a week ago.dennis is also right they released more than 100 here at the ramp after this years tournament.5-100$that amount of fish caught in first night tells alot there here!

Dan , did they use trap nets? I've seen them sample Crappie here a couple years ago with trap nets. Hard to believe if they used those it would produce so many. Lake Conway must be loaded with Crappie.:DOriginally Posted by danogoldcreek

I caught two last weekend with tags out of Gold Creek. One of them was 12" and other was 11". Got a $15 and $25 checks. Nothing like getting paid to go fishing! Wish i could make it a habit!!

yeah buddy,square hoop nets with a guide net run off the front,and did i mention one net right in front of my house.

dam CP nobody hung here after the worser stuff came in,hat off to you!the guy that caught 16 today caught 8 yesterday but left when the rain started back up.only had 1 other launcher didnt talk to him.I was out inthe deer woods fixing stands and lanes.goin out after the crappie right now.
