Nothing at Overcup. Caught one brim and a small crappie. Got on the water about 9 this morning and left around 3:30. We trolled, cast and reeled, vertical fished around the stumps, used grubs, roadrunners, beetle spins of all different colors and still did poorly. The guys I talked to there this morning said that it has slowed down since Thursday when everyone was doing so good out there. However, catfish are crazy there right now. He showed me a cooler his son had filled by noodling last night. Had 19 in all and the biggest one he had was about 20 pounds. Anyways, here soon I'm going to go back to Brewer or try my luck at Lake Conway.
A man is truly blessed, when he returns home from fishing to be greeted by the best catch of his life.

One crappie all day. It sucked. Big time. No one else I talked to was doing any good either.
Don't these fish know they need to bite on the weekends? Or maybe I just need to quit work so I can be there when they are hungry!
