Havent been lately myself, i have been building a new boat trailer for my duck boat. Been busy working on everones boat motors, cleaning carbs, new water pumps, etc.
Seens like the closer to duck season they all drag their motors out that has been setting since last duck season and wont everthing fix in a days time. Any way back to the fish being on the move. Went to one of may favorite lakes 3 weeks ago and didnt do much. I have a friend that fishes this lake quite often. He knows his stuff on crappie fishing, he went last week and caught 14 fish and the were on the small side. He told me that it should be this week or next week that they will be on the move to shallower water. I guess he knows what he is talking about, he and a buddy went Tuesday and caught their limit in 4 hours. He went back today by himself started at 10 and brought me 30 by may work and left them for me in my truck at 1. He says that he caught bigger ones today and seams like they are getting bigger. So dont know weather to thank him or what. Might have to call in sick tomorrow. Is anyone else noticing this were they fish. Always seems like this lake starts earlier.
