    Hope I'm not violating forum policy by posting this. Couldn't find any rules forbidding it. I have an 18 hp Mercury XD Electric Start for sale if anyone is interested. '86 model runs great. Fresh tune from Bradford (just picked it up last week) and new impeller this year. Strong motor. Asking $900 OBO. PM or call 501-951-8635. Thanks.

    Could not find your motor in the list. Closest I found was 18 hp manual in 1985?

    Yeah, that's not it. The XD models were made in Belgium. XD denotes "extra duty", whatever that means.:rolleyes: I'll try and post a couple of pics.

    I need it, bad for my kids boat. Just can't spend the money right now with taxes due on the 10th next month. They have a 10ft Water Rat, and it has Mercury controls in it. I have two Johnson 25hp. And just didn't want to have to put in new controls.
