I woke up last Saturday; my boat was already hooked up and ready to go. I just didn't know where I was going. An hour and a half later, I was putting in at Choctaw on Greer's Ferry. I started working the point that Creekslick and I have discussed before and started putting them in the boat. I have over 50 Bandits and they would only hit one particular one; of which I only had one. I finally snagged it on some timber. That can be frustrating since my success ratio is about 50% of getting them back. After many attempts with my plug knocker, I finally relented and broke the line. To make matters worse, my plug knocker was hung up too. I started to cut the line then thought I might as well tie it to a cleat then back up and see what happens. I hauled up about 4 feet of the limb it was snagged on. And dangeling from the limb was my Bandit of the day that was catching all of the fish. I stopped on the way home to shop for some more of that color. Had to wait until Monday and found three of them. I am just about to start on my second Bandit box.

Hey DP,
You're killin' me here! What color??
Glad you got it back, though.
My wife keeps saying I never listen to her....... or something like that!
DP cant believe you'd tell that story and leave out the color Bandit you was a catchin em on:D
Try fishing dingier waters and colors are not near as important. Here colors are more important to the fishermen than the fish. I even know of one guy who fished pro bass that thought 2 colors were plenty light and dark.![]()

I would have to blame it on you buddy. I could never explain why I need 6 and I only use 4 poles.

Chartruse/black splatter back. I wished I was brave enough to post pictures. I am on the companies computer and they don't appreciate downloading stuff like photobucket. I ain't smart enough to do it otherwise.

I had the same thing happen in your fishing hole last Summer. That color was pearl with chartruse belly. I have a bunch of those now too.
